65-25-226. Construction of part.

This part shall be construed liberally. The enumeration of any object, purpose, power, manner, method, or thing shall not be deemed to exclude like or similar objects, purposes, powers, manner, methods, or things. Notwithstanding the foregoing or any other provisions in this part to the contrary, this part shall not be construed to affect the powers conferred or the limitations imposed upon annexing municipalities and electric cooperatives in § 6-51-112; nor shall this part be construed to affect or restrict the services or activities provided or performed by a microwave system authorized and licensed by the federal communications commission on April 7, 1988.
