53-2-71. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Necessity of intent to revoke; effect of revocation clause where intent absent


In all cases of revocation, the intention to revoke is necessary to make it effectual. An express clause of revocation will not operate upon a testamentary paper where it is manifest that such was not the intention.
