53-6-144. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Commissions paid to administrator or executor; division of commissions between coadministrators or coexecutors


Unless otherwise specifically provided by the will, an administrator or executor is entitled to receive commissions on debts, legacies, and distributive shares paid to himself in the same manner as commissions to which he would be entitled under the terms of the will or applicable law on such items paid to others. If there is more than one administrator or executor, the division of the commissions allowed them shall be according to the services rendered by each.
