53-7-8. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Contracts for labor or service; approval of probate court


An administrator or executor may make contracts for labor or service for the benefit of the estate he represents upon such terms as he may deem best. All such contracts, made in good faith, shall be a charge upon and bind the estate whenever the same are approved by the judge of the probate court of the county.
