53-8-36. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Private sale of real property as contrary to public policy; review by parties at interest

A private sale of real property by an administrator or executor under an obligation or agreement to perfect the same by a compliance with legal formalities is contrary to public policy, and such sales shall always be open to review at the option of the parties at interest.
