39:4-122.Ā Signal by police whistle
A driver shall, upon one blast of a police whistle given by a police officerĀ with hand raised, bring the vehicle to a full stop, and shall not proceed againĀ until he receives a signal so to do from the officer.Ā Three or more blasts ofĀ the police whistle is the signal for alarm and indicates the approach of a fireĀ engine or other danger.
