SECTION 10-9-30

   § 10-9-30  Judicial powers not restrained.– Nothing contained in this chapter shall be so construed as to restrain thepower of the supreme or superior court, or any one of the justices thereof, toissue a writ of habeas corpus at their discretion, and thereupon to bail anyperson for whatsoever cause he or she may be committed or restrained, or todischarge him or her, as law and justice shall require.
