SECTION 11-15-4

   § 11-15-4  Use of state emblems forcommercial purposes. – No person, firm or corporation shall use the state seal, the state coat ofarms, or a facsimile or imitation of them, for commercial purposes. The use ofthe state seal, the state coat of arms, or a facsimile or imitation of them asa portion of any letterhead, or in any advertisement, shall create apresumption that the use is for commercial purposes. Any person who violatesany provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and,upon conviction, shall be fined not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500).
