SECTION 11-30-12

   § 11-30-12  Slaughterhouses, renderingplants, garbage plants, and brick kilns. – All buildings, places, or lands used as slaughterhouses, renderingestablishments, garbage plants, or brick kilns, and located within threehundred (300) feet of any public park or public hospital, are declared to becommon nuisances. This section shall not apply to any slaughterhouse orrendering establishment previously located by the proper authorities of anycity or town. Every person who shall maintain any common nuisance of this typeshall be punished by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or byimprisonment not exceeding one year, or both.
