SECTION 11-30-4

   § 11-30-4  Penalty for nuisance involvingintoxicating liquors. – Every person keeping or maintaining any common nuisance enumerated in §11-30-2, or aiding in so doing, shall for the first offense be punished by afine of not more than six hundred dollars ($600), and for a second and eachsubsequent offense shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000),or be imprisoned for not more than two (2) years in the adult correctionalinstitutions, or both, in the discretion of the court. Money arising from finesimposed under this section shall be paid one-half ( 1/2) to the generaltreasurer of the state and one-half ( 1/2) to the treasurer of the town or citywhere the offense occurred.
