§ 11-4-6 Arson – Fifth degree. –Any person who knowingly attempts to cause, procure, aid, or counsel by fire orexplosion the damage or destruction of any property mentioned in §§11-4-2 – 11-4-5 shall, upon conviction, be fined not exceeding onethousand dollars ($1,000), or imprisonment for not less than one year nor morethan twenty (20) years.
