SECTION 11-44-17

   § 11-44-17  Enforcement of § 11-44-16.– Any police constable of Newport or of Middletown, viewing any offense committedin violation of § 11-44-16, shall immediately arrest the offender, whetherin Newport or in Middletown, and cause him or her to be prosecuted for theoffense as soon as may be possible before the district court.
