SECTION 11-9.1-3

   § 11-9.1-3  False statements in bill oflading. – Any officer, agent, or servant of a carrier who, with intent to defraud, issuesor aids in issuing a bill of lading for goods knowing that it contains anyfalse statement, shall be guilty of a crime, and upon conviction shall bepunished for each offense by imprisonment not exceeding one year, or by a finenot exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or both.
