SECTION 11-9.1-8

   § 11-9.1-8  Failure to mark nonnegotiablebill of lading. – Any person who, with intent to defraud, issues or aids in issuing anonnegotiable bill of lading without the words "not negotiable" placed plainlyupon the face of it shall be guilty of a crime, and upon conviction shall bepunished for each offense by imprisonment not exceeding five (5) years, or by afine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000), or both.
