SECTION 12-1.5-14

   § 12-1.5-14  Prohibition and disclosure.– (a) Any person who, by virtue of employment or official position, or any personcontracting to carry out any functions under this chapter, including anyofficers, employees and agents of a contractor, who has possession of or accessto individually identifiable DNA information contained in the state DNAdatabase or in the state DNA databank, shall not disclose it in any manner toany person or agency not authorized to receive it knowing that the person oragency is not authorized to receive it.

   (b) No person shall obtain individually identifiable DNAinformation from the state DNA database or the state DNA databank withoutauthorization pursuant to this chapter to do so.
