SECTION 12-10-3

   § 12-10-3  Recording and certification ofappointments and revocations – Signature of warrants. – Appointments and revocations shall be recorded in the records of the court andcertified by the chief judge making them to the secretary of state, and thejudge shall also issue to the justice or justices of the peace his or herwarrant under the seal of the court, by which the justice or justices shall beauthorized to perform the duties specified in this chapter, and shall also,whenever he or she shall revoke the appointment, notify the justice of thepeace in writing of the revocation. Justices of the peace appointed to issuewarrants shall sign all warrants by them issued as "Justice of the peaceauthorized to issue warrants."
