SECTION 12-16.1-4

   § 12-16.1-4  Terms and conditions. –The order to the witness and to the person having custody of the witness shallprovide for the return of the witness at the conclusion of his or hertestimony, proper safeguards on the witness' custody, and proper financialreimbursement or prepayment by the requesting jurisdiction for all expensesincurred in the production and return of the witness, and may prescribe anyother conditions that the judge thinks proper or necessary. The order shall notbecome effective until the judge of the state requesting the witness enters anorder directing compliance with the prescribed conditions.
