§ 12-25-30 Deposit of funds. – All moneys assessed pursuant to § 12-25-28 as costs against defendants asprovided in this chapter shall be paid by the clerks of the family, districtand superior courts to the treasurer, who shall keep the funds in the violentcrimes indemnity account. Funds received by the treasurer in excess of thirtythousand dollars ($30,000) shall be made available and distributed withinthirty (30) days of receipt in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
