SECTION 12-6-2

   § 12-6-2  Recognizance for cost oncomplaint within trial jurisdiction of district court. – Whenever any complaint shall allege the commission of any offense within thejurisdiction of the district court to try and determine, the judge or justiceof the peace shall require the complainant, unless he or she is exempted bylaw, to enter into a like recognizance as is required when complaint is madefor any threat.
