SECTION 12-9-25

   § 12-9-25  Warrant to return prisoner fromanother state. – Whenever the governor of this state shall demand a person charged with crime orwith escaping from confinement or breaking the terms of his or her bail,probation, or parole in this state, from the executive authority of any otherstate, or from the chief justice or an associate justice of the supreme courtof the District of Columbia authorized to receive a demand under the laws ofthe United States, he or she shall issue a warrant under the seal of this stateto some agent, commanding the agent to receive the person so charged ifdelivered to him or her and convey the person to the proper officer of thecounty in this state in which the offense was committed.
