§ 12-9-27 Application for requisition ofperson convicted of crime. – When the return to this state is required of a person who has been convicted ofa crime in this state and has escaped from confinement or broken the terms ofhis or her bail, probation, or parole, the attorney general or the warden ofthe institution from which escape was made shall present to the governor awritten application for a requisition for the return of the person, in whichshall be stated the name of the person, the crime of which the person wasconvicted, the circumstances of his or her escape from confinement or of thebreach of the terms of his or her bail, probation, or parole, the state inwhich the person is believed to be, including the location of the person inthat state at the time application is made.
