SECTION 13-5-6

   § 13-5-6  Accommodations for femaleprisoners. – In every station in which a police matron serves, or to which a police matronis attached, sufficient and proper accommodations shall be provided for womenconfined under arrest In case those accommodations shall be insufficient orimproper, the matron shall notify the police chief, and it shall be the duty ofthe police chief to notify the city or town council. It shall be the duty ofthe city or town council to provide, at the expense of the city or town,sufficient and proper accommodations.
