SECTION 14-1-30.2

   § 14-1-30.2  Foster parents – Noticeof court proceedings. – The department of children, youth and families shall provide notice to fosterparents, pre-adoptive parents or relatives providing care for a child of anyreview or hearing to be held with respect to a child in the care of thedepartment. The foster parents, pre-adoptive parents or relatives providingcare for a child may attend the hearing and file with the court a report,either written or oral, for the purpose of conveying to the court informationrelating to the best interest of the child. Nothing in this section shall beconstrued to give the foster parents, pre-adoptive parents or relativesproviding care for a child legal standing as a party to the petition.
