SECTION 15-5-24.5

   § 15-5-24.5  Court ordered visitationrights to certain persons convicted of first degree murder – Prohibited.– No court shall make an order providing visitation rights to a parent who hasbeen convicted of murder in the first degree of the other parent of the childwho is the subject of the order, unless that court first conducts a hearing inorder to determine whether the child is of an appropriate age, maturity,intelligence and voluntarily consents to the visitation. No person shall cause,facilitate, or assist a child to visit a parent who has been convicted ofmurder in the first degree of the other parent of the child without the consentof the child's custodian or legal guardian except as authorized by a courtorder.
