SECTION 15-7-12

   § 15-7-12  Trial period of residence.– No petition shall be granted until the child has lived for six (6) months inthe proposed home; provided, that the period of residence may be waived and thepetition granted by the court upon good cause shown, when satisfied that theproposed home and the child are suited to each other.
