SECTION 15-8-19

   § 15-8-19  Judgments – Enforcement.– (a) If existence of the father and child relationship is declared, or paternityor a duty of support has been acknowledged or adjudicated under this chapter orunder prior law, the obligation of the father may be enforced in the same orother proceedings by the mother, the child, the public authority that hasfurnished or may furnish the reasonable expenses of pregnancy, confinement,education, support, or funeral, or by other persons, including a privateagency, to the extent that they furnished or are furnishing those expenses.

   (b) Willful failure to obey the judgment or order of thecourt is a civil contempt of the court. All remedies for the enforcement ofjudgments apply.
