SECTION 16-22-16

   § 16-22-16  Blocked air passage treatmenttraining. – (a) The department of elementary and secondary education shall develop andprescribe a training course in the emergency treatment for blocked airpassages. The course shall be established in accordance with criteria andrequirements established by the director of the department of health. Thedepartment of elementary and secondary education shall determine the age orgrade level of pupils required to receive training.

   (b) The school committees of the several cities, towns, andschool districts shall provide for the incorporation of the course of trainingin existing health education courses.
