SECTION 16-25-2

   § 16-25-2  Supervision of beneficiaries– Reports to general assembly. – The department of elementary and secondary education is invested with the dutyand responsibility of supervising the education of all those beneficiaries, andno child appointed as provided in § 16-25-1 shall be withdrawn from anyinstitution or school except with its consent, or the consent of the governor;and the department shall annually report its doings under this chapter to thegeneral assembly, with any further information in relation to the severalinstitutions at which these beneficiaries have been placed that may be deemeddesirable.
