§ 16-3-13 Powers of regional schooldistrict financial meeting. – The regional school district financial meeting shall determine the regionalschool district budget as to overall amounts, the decision as to the levying oftaxes covering the functions of the regional school district, the purchase ofland and the construction of buildings, the extension of the scope of thefunctions of the regional school district as approved by the board of regentsfor elementary and secondary education, and the election of members to theregional school district school committee.
