SECTION 16-3-20

§ 16-3-20 Appropriations by member towns.– (a) Each city or town that is a member of a regional school district shallannually appropriate a sum sufficient to pay its proportionate share of theinterest on the bonds and notes issued and outstanding under authority of thischapter, and also to pay its proportionate share of the principal of the bondsand notes maturing in any one year until the bonds and notes are fully paid.

(b) Each city or town that is a member of the district shallannually appropriate a sum sufficient to pay its proportionate share of theoperation of the regional school district in accordance with the terms of theagreement.
