§ 16-3-7.1 Equalized representation.– Any other provisions of this chapter or any other general or public law to thecontrary notwithstanding, members of the regional district school committeeshall be selected from voting districts as nearly equal in population as ispracticable within each city or town in the district, and member cities ortowns in the districts shall be entitled to representation on the schoolcommittee in proportion to their population.
