SECTION 16-38-10

   § 16-38-10  Power of officials to visitschools. – Any school receiving aid from the state, either by direct grant or by exemptionfrom taxation, may be visited and examined by the school committee of the cityor town in which the school is situated, and by the board of elementary andsecondary education or its duly authorized agents, and by the commissioner ofelementary and secondary education or the commissioner's duly authorizedagents, when they shall deem it advisable.
