SECTION 16-45-1

§ 16-45-1 Establishment –Maintenance. – The board of regents for elementary and secondary education is authorized andempowered to establish and maintain regional schools for vocational andtechnological training and instruction with any equipment, apparatus, books,and supplies that shall be necessary for instruction and for proper maintenanceof the schools, and for these purposes the department of elementary andsecondary education shall appoint and remove necessary instructors, teachers,and other employees, determine their compensation, fix the standards and termsupon which students shall be received and instructed in and discharged from theschools, and make all rules and regulations necessary for the control,management, and operation of the schools.
