SECTION 16-62-20

§ 16-62-20 Supplemental nature of powers– Issuance of bonds and notes governed by this chapter. – Nothing contained in this chapter shall restrict or limit the powers of theauthority arising under any laws of this state. This chapter shall be construedto provide a complete additional and alternative method for doing the thingsauthorized by it and shall be regarded as supplemental and in addition to thepowers conferred by other laws. The issuance of all bonds, notes, and otherobligations of the authority under the provisions of this chapter need notcomply with the requirements of any other statute applicable to the issuance ofbonds, notes, or other obligations. No proceedings or notice of approval shallbe required for the issuance of any bonds, notes, and other obligations or anyinstruments of security for these except as provided in this chapter.
