SECTION 17-12-2.1

   § 17-12-2.1  Political party statecommittee rules or bylaws. – (a) All political party state committee rules or bylaws and any amendments tothem must be filed with the state board of elections within thirty (30) days oftheir adoption.

   (b) If a political party duly adopts a rule or bylawconsistent with state law relating to or affecting the conduct of an electionheld pursuant to this title, as determined by the board of elections, this ruleor bylaw shall not affect any election which occurs less than one hundredeighty (180) days following the date of filing of any rule or bylaw with thestate board of elections.
