SECTION 17-25-11.1

   § 17-25-11.1  Preservation of candidate orcommittee records. – (a) For every report filed after the effective date of this chapter, thecampaign treasurer of each candidate seeking nomination for election orelection to public office shall maintain and preserve all records andsupporting documentation for a period of four (4) years from the filing date.

   (b) For every report filed after the effective date of thischapter, the treasurer of each political party committee and political actioncommittee shall be required to maintain and preserve all records in support ofthe committee reports filed pursuant to § 17-25-11 for a period of four(4) years from the filing date.
