SECTION 17-25-8.1

   § 17-25-8.1  Appointment of treasurer bypolitical action committee – Filings. – (a) Each political action committee shall appoint one campaign treasurer beforereceiving any contribution or expending any money for the purpose of advocatingthe election or defeat of any candidate.

   (b) A campaign treasurer of a political action committee mayappoint deputy campaign treasurers as may be required. The committees shallfile the names and addresses of the deputy campaign treasurers with the boardof elections.

   (c) Any political action committee may remove at any time itscampaign treasurer. In the case of the death, resignation, or removal of itscampaign treasurer, any committee shall appoint a successor as soon aspracticable and shall file his or her name and address with the board ofelections within ten (10) days.
