SECTION 17-4-1

   § 17-4-1  Congressional districts. –The state shall be divided into two (2) districts for the election ofrepresentatives in the congress of the United States, to be called respectivelythe first congressional district and the second congressional district, and theelectors residing in each of the districts who are qualified to vote forgeneral officers shall be entitled, at the times and places and in the mannerprovided by law, to elect a representative in the congress of the United Statesfor the district in which they reside.
