§ 2-18.1-10 Dealer's license. – Every dealer, before offering nursery stock for sale or distribution orsoliciting orders for nursery stock in Rhode Island, shall obtain a dealer'slicense for each place of business from the department. The license expires onMarch 31 of each year, and application for renewal of a license shall be madeannually prior to that date. A dealer's license is nontransferable.Applications for license or renewal of a license shall be in writing on a formprescribed by the department, and be accompanied by a fee of fifty dollars($50.00). Each applicant for a license certifies that he or she will buy anddistribute only nursery stock which has been officially inspected andcertified, and that he or she will maintain with the department a list of allsources from which he or she secures nursery stock and all places of businesswhich he or she maintains.
