SECTION 2-18.1-15

   § 2-18.1-15  Nonresidents. – Nonresident nursery workers, dealers and other persons, wishing to ship nurserystock into Rhode Island, whether or not licensed as dealers in Rhode Island,shall first file with the director a copy of a valid, unexpired certificateshowing that the stock sold by that person has been officially inspected andfound to be apparently free of injurious insects and plant diseases or tosupply any other evidence that the director may set forth as being equivalentto the filing of certificate, and shall, if required by the director, complywith any regulations that the director may designate, regarding the use ofuniform shipping tags, or any other regulations that the director may prescribeto facilitate the enforcement of this chapter. The director may require thenonresident nursery workers, dealers or other persons to notify him or her ofthe date of shipping, and the destination of nursery stock intended for anyconsignee within this state.
