State Codes and Statutes

§ 2-5-1 Definitions. – When used in this chapter, the term:

(1) "Department" means the department of environmentalmanagement of the state of Rhode Island.

(2) "Director" means the director of environmental managementof the state of Rhode Island.

(3) "Secretary of agriculture" means the secretary ofagriculture of the United States.

(4) "Soil conservation and domestic allotment act" means thefederal soil conservation and domestic allotment act, 16 U.S.C. § 590a etseq.
