SECTION 20-6-9

   § 20-6-9  Penalty for exceeding allowancewithout license. – Every person taking in any one day more than one half (1/2) bushel each ofoysters, bay quahaugs, soft shell clams, sea clams, or mussels from the freeand common fisheries of this state, without a license, shall be fined, uponconviction, not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) and costs for each one half(1/2) bushel or fraction thereof above the stated limits or be imprisoned notexceeding thirty (30) days, or both.
