SECTION 22-10-4.1

   § 22-10-4.1  Governmental employees. –Any employee of any branch of federal, state, or local government acting in hisor her official capacity shall register his or her name and the agency which heor she represents in a separate register which shall be maintained by thesecretary of state for that purpose. Each governmental employee shall annuallyregister his or her name commencing with the year he or she begins lobbyingactivity. Governmental employees shall be exempt from the remaining provisionsof this chapter. For the purposes of this exemption, agents and employees ofpublic corporations shall not be considered state or local employees.
