SECTION 22-14.2-1

   § 22-14.2-1  Permanent joint committee onstate lottery – Composition. – There is hereby created a permanent joint committee on state lottery. Thepermanent joint committee on state lottery shall consist of eight (8) members;four (4) of whom shall be members of the senate, not more than three (3) fromthe same political party to be appointed by the senate president; and four (4)of whom shall be members of the house of representatives, not more than three(3) from the same political party to be appointed by the speaker of the house.

   The senate president and the speaker of the house shallconsult with the house and senate minority leaders on the appointment of theminority members.
