SECTION 23-10-2

   § 23-10-2  Reports by physicians. –Whenever any physician knows that any person under his or her professional careis affected with tuberculosis, he or she shall transmit to the director of thestate department of health within seven (7) days, upon blanks provided by thestate department of health for that purpose, the name, sex, age, color, race,occupation, social condition, and residence of that person. Any physicianfailing or refusing to comply with the requirements of this section shall beguilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction shall be subject to a fine of tendollars ($10.00).
