SECTION 23-17.7.1-18

   § 23-17.7.1-18  Prior criminal recordschecks. – If an applicant for employment has undergone a statewide criminal records checkwithin eighteen (18) months of an application for employment, then an employermay request from the bureau of criminal identification or local police a letterindicating if any disqualifying information was discovered. The bureau ofcriminal identification will respond without disclosing the nature of thedisqualifying information. The letter may be maintained on file to satisfy therequirements of this chapter.
