SECTION 23-17-39

   § 23-17-39  Immunity from liability. –No employer who disqualifies an individual from employment or continuedemployment within thirty (30) days of receipt of a letter containingdisqualifying information as defined in § 23-17-37 or of a criminalbackground report relating to the individual shall be liable for civil damagesor subject to any claim, demand, cause of action or proceeding of any nature asa result of the disqualification.
