SECTION 23-17-48

   § 23-17-48  Labor disputes/actions. –Health care facilities shall provide the licensing agency with prompt notice ofpending and actual labor disputes/actions which would impact delivery ofpatient care services including, but not limited to, strikes, walk-outs, andstrike notices. Health care facilities shall provide a plan, acceptable to thedirector, for continued operation of the facility, suspension of operations, orclosure in the event of an actual or potential labor dispute/action. Thedirector of health has the authority to promulgate rules and regulationsnecessary to carry out the provisions of this section.
