SECTION 23-18.2-6

   § 23-18.2-6  Civil penalties. – (a) Any person convicted under the provisions of § 23-18.2-5 or chapter 20of title 11, shall, in addition to any fine or penalty imposed, pay trebledamages to the burial ground authority, religious organization, cemeterycorporation, or persons having charge of the burial ground where the damage hasbeen sustained.

   (b) If the convicted offender is a minor, the court may, ifit determines that the offender is unable to pay treble damages, require theoffender to perform a specified work program at the site where the damageoccurred for a period of time that will in the opinion of the court equaltreble the amount of the damages sustained.
