SECTION 23-18.9-12

   § 23-18.9-12  Records required. – (a) Every private landfill operator shall keep a written record of the vehicleswhich unload cargo at the landfill. The record shall contain the date, thetime, and the registration of the vehicle. The landfill operator shall uponrequest make the written record available for inspection by the department ofenvironmental management.

   (b) The director of the department of environmentalmanagement shall promulgate rules and regulations for the purpose of enforcingand complying with the provisions of this section.

   (c) Every person who shall violate the provisions of thissection shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five thousand dollars($5,000) for each offense.
